  • Yes—but only the ones that align with our philosophy. Tensor Phone uses the Tensor App Store, a clean front-end to Google Play, showing only essential apps like WhatsApp, Spotify, Uber, banking, maps, and email. Social media, games, and other addictive apps are permanently blocked. No sideloading, no bloat.

  • No — Tensor Phone does not support RCS, as it requires Google Services and Play certification, which we intentionally avoid to keep the experience minimal, private, and lightweight.

    Instead, Tensor Phone supports:

    • SMS & MMS via the built-in Tensor Messages app

    • WhatsApp (preinstalled and fully functional) for rich messaging and media

    This gives you seamless, reliable communication without relying on Google’s ecosystem. For most users, WhatsApp fills the gap left by RCS while respecting your attention and privacy.

  • Yes. Tensor Phone natively supports WhatsApp, SMS, and MMS right out of the box.

  • By default, internet browsing is disabled to help you stay focused. However, you can unlock browsing anytime for a one-time fee if you choose.

    The browser will be heavily limited with a custom search engine.

  • Yes. Tensor Phone will have a 5 MP front camera and a 12 MP rear camera.

  • Tensor Phone is fully carrier unlocked and compatible with all major carriers worldwide.

  • Yes. Tensor Phone is fully unlocked and globally compatible, making it ideal for travelers. It supports a wide range of international carriers.

  • Tensor Phone includes Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and NFC for modern wireless functionality.
    However, Google Pay is not supported, since the device does not use Google Services.
